Stewart, Clerk <br />Absent: Lynn Matteson, President <br />Ralph pan Hoven, Treasurer <br />The council met as a canvassing board at 7:30 p.m. and the clerk read a state- <br />ment of the result of the canvass, as follows: <br />Statement of the The following is a statement of the result of the canvass of <br />result of the votes in favor of and against the propositions submitted at the <br />canvass. Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, Special Election, April 26,. <br />1919, as canvassed by the Village council: <br />Propositions Voted On: 1. Sha11 the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota issue and <br />sell its negotiable coupon bonds in the amount of ~l~0,000.00, <br />or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose of con- <br />structing a combination village hall and fire hall, such bonds <br />to mature serially and to be in such denominations as the coun- <br />cil may determine, and to bear interest at the lowest rate at <br />which the bonds can be sold, not exceeding six per cent per annum? <br />Yes votes received, 179. No votes received, 8. Blank votes, 1. <br />Said proposition declared passedx` <br />2. Shall the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, issue and <br />sell its negotiable coupon bonds in the amount of X5,000.00, or <br />so much thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose of purchas- <br />ing fire equipment, said bonds to mature serially and to be in <br />such denominations as the council may determine, and to bear <br />interest at the lowest rate at which the bonds can be sold, not <br />exceeding six per cent per annum? <br />Yes votes :received, 179• No votes received, 8.
