RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF BONDS
<br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the Village of Falcon Heights,
<br />Minnesota, as follows:
<br />1. That the Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minne-
<br />sota, hereby determines that its bonds in the sum of Five Thousand
<br />Dollars (5,000.00) heretofore authorized to be issued by the Village
<br />Council, and by the electors of said Villa ge at an election duly
<br />called and held on the 26th day of April, 1949, to purchase fire
<br />equipment, be issued and sold by the Village.
<br />2. That the said bonds bear date the first day of September,
<br />1949, be in denominations of One Thousand Dollars each, and bear
<br />interest at the rate specified by the successful bidder for said
<br />bonds, not exceeding, however, 4f per annum, payable semi-annually;
<br />that the said bonds shall mature serially on the first day of Sep-
<br />tember in each of the years and in the amounts following, to-wit:
<br />X1,000.00 in 1951 X1,000.00 in 1954
<br />1:000.00 in 1952 1,000.00 in 1955
<br />1,000.00 in 1953
<br />3. That the Council of the said Village meet at the old Rase
<br />Town Hall, Hamline and County Road B on the 9th day of August, 1949,
<br />at 7:30 o'clock P.Ni., far the purpose of receiving, opening, con-
<br />sidering and acting upon the sealed bids for the purchase of said
<br />bonds.
<br />4. The Deputy Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
<br />to give at lease ten days' notice of the sale of said bonds by publica-
<br />tion of a notice thereof in the St. Paul Legal Ledger, the official
<br />newspaper of said Village, and in The Commercial ?~~est, a weekly
<br />financial periodical published in the City of I~linneapolis, Minnesota.
<br />5. That the Notice to Bidders be in substantially the follow-
<br />ing form: ~~

<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY UIVEN That the Council of the Village of Falcon
<br />Heights, Minnesota, will meet at the old Rose Town Hall, Hamline and
<br />County Road B, on the 9th day of August, 1949, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
<br />for the purpose of receiving, opening, considering and acting upon
<br />sealed bids for the purchase of`k'ive Thousand Dollars (5,000.00) of
<br />the bonds of said Village, said bonds being issued and sold for the
<br />purpose of purchasing fire equipment for the said Village. Said bonds
<br />shall bear date the first day of September, 1949, shall be in the
<br />denominations of One Thousand Dollars each, shall bear interest
<br />at the rate specified by the successful bidder, not exceeding, how-
<br />ever, 4~ per annum payable semi-annually, and shall mature serially
<br />on September 1st in the years and amounts following:
