Geraghty, Attorney, speaking on behalf of his clients, Harry <br />Dunham and 21 others who are property owners living within 500 feet <br />of the property requested rezoned, stated the people he represented <br />were definitely opposed to the rezoning. <br />E. C. Muggenburg, 1512 ~'V. Calif. asked the Council to be mindful of <br />the wishes of the people living in the area. Agreed~~hat a lot of <br />people living in the Village would like to see something built on <br />lots in question, but felt that it would be difficult for some one <br />removed from the area to fully understand and appreciate what it <br />would mean to have multiple dwelling units built next to ones home. <br />Wished to go on record a.s being opposed to the rezoning. <br />James A. Gallaher, 1505 W• Idaho, asked that his letter of'r,ugust 23, <br />in which he stated he was opposed to the rezoning and his reasons <br />therefor, be incorporated into the minutes of this meeting. <br />Harry Dunham, 1507 W. Idaho, opposed to the rezoning, stated that many <br />people living beyond 500 feet of the property requested rezoned were <br />also opposed to the rezoning and if necessary he vvould be glad to have <br />another petition signed by them. <br />John McClain 1513 Calif., advised he had just purchased his home. Had <br />he known of this proposed rezoning, he would not have made this purchase. <br />It was requested that the letter of August 18 received from the P~amsey <br />County Planning Commission .regarding the proposed rezoning, also be in- <br />corporated in the minutes of the meeting. <br />A. J• Kane, 1492 ;'U. Idaho was also opposed to the rezoning. <br />No others wishing to be heard, mayor ruatteson declared the hearing <br />closed. <br />Tree Cutting crank Graham, Attorney, reported he had sample ordinances on tree <br />Fire Ordinance cutting and information on the fire ordinance an d he planned to <br /> mail the material to ;;tan Seaborn. <br />Barthol Villa The question of issuing building permits on lots in Barthol Villa <br />Lota was brought before the Council for discussion. After reviewing <br /> the minutes of the meeting of November 8 on this question, Matteson <br /> moved that the building inspector be instructed to issue no build- <br /> ing permits for the construction of new homes in Barthol Villa where <br /> such lots are a part of the natural waterway. ,, otion seconded by <br /> Rysgaard and carried. <br />Bills The following bills were presented for payment: <br /> Art Lindig, expenses attend.
