Geraghty, Attorney, speaking on behalf of his clients, Harry Dunham and 21 others who are property owners living within 500 feet of the property requested rezoned, stated the people he represented were definitely opposed to the rezoning. E. C. Muggenburg, 1512 ~'V. Calif. asked the Council to be mindful of the wishes of the people living in the area. Agreed~~hat a lot of people living in the Village would like to see something built on lots in question, but felt that it would be difficult for some one removed from the area to fully understand and appreciate what it would mean to have multiple dwelling units built next to ones home. Wished to go on record a.s being opposed to the rezoning. James A. Gallaher, 1505 W• Idaho, asked that his letter of'r,ugust 23, in which he stated he was opposed to the rezoning and his reasons therefor, be incorporated into the minutes of this meeting. Harry Dunham, 1507 W. Idaho, opposed to the rezoning, stated that many people living beyond 500 feet of the property requested rezoned were also opposed to the rezoning and if necessary he vvould be glad to have another petition signed by them. John McClain 1513 Calif., advised he had just purchased his home. Had he known of this proposed rezoning, he would not have made this purchase. It was requested that the letter of August 18 received from the P~amsey County Planning Commission .regarding the proposed rezoning, also be in- corporated in the minutes of the meeting. A. J• Kane, 1492 ;'U. Idaho was also opposed to the rezoning. No others wishing to be heard, mayor ruatteson declared the hearing closed. Tree Cutting crank Graham, Attorney, reported he had sample ordinances on tree Fire Ordinance cutting and information on the fire ordinance an d he planned to mail the material to ;;tan Seaborn. Barthol Villa The question of issuing building permits on lots in Barthol Villa Lota was brought before the Council for discussion. After reviewing the minutes of the meeting of November 8 on this question, Matteson moved that the building inspector be instructed to issue no build- ing permits for the construction of new homes in Barthol Villa where such lots are a part of the natural waterway. ,, otion seconded by Rysgaard and carried.
