Said there was nothing he wished to add, but.oa, ~~: <br />attention to the hearing sehedul:.a for 9:30 am., r'ebruary 23, <br />1950, before the state railroad and warehouse commission on the <br />petition of the St Paul City Railway,Company for discontinuance <br />of the Como-Larpenteur bus, and of the importance of having spokes- <br />men of the community and all interested residents present at the <br />hearing. <br />Abolishment of On motion by Rekstad, seconded by Henry, to abolish the present <br />present police police set up, the following vote was taken by roll call - <br />set up proposed. <br />.byes: Henry - Rekstad <br />Nays: Shavor - Lindig - Stewart <br />The motion was, therefore, declared lost. <br />Communications: Letter from our attorney, dated Feb. 11, as to destruction of <br />Village records. Ordered filed. <br />Letters of Jan. 27 and Feb. 8 from our attorney as to appoint- <br />ment of a local board of health. The clerk was directed to con- <br />tact Doctor Ausman or some other physician who might be willing <br />to serve as Chairman if such Board is appointed. <br />Letter of Feb. 4, from Village of Roseville, as to sharing upkeep <br />of the Town Hall until the matter is settled between the Town of <br />Rose and the Village of Roseville. In this connection, Shavor <br />and Lindig reported in trying to borrow 32 chairs from the Town <br />Hall for village us®, that the 3anitor had informed th en he had <br />orders nat to release anything until authorized. It was agreed <br />to refer the matter of dividing the chairs and other pe rsonal <br />property at the Town Hall to the Town Board. <br />Letter Prom the County Auditor as to establishing eleotion dis- <br />tricts and voting places in the Village with notice of same to <br />the County Auditor so that election supplies may be provided. <br />The letter was referred to our attorney for checking up with the <br />County .Auditor. <br />Salaries of After discussion, Lindig moved that the salary of the Mayor be <br />Council ~ X50 a month, that each Trustee's salary be X35 a month, that the <br />Clerk's be X75 a month, and the Treasurer's, $30 a month, until <br />December 31, 1950. Seconded by Shavor and motion carried. <br />Resolution re Adoption of the following resolution was moved by Shavor, seconded <br />X10,000 tax by Stewart, discussed and carried unanimously: <br />anticipation certi- <br />ficate of indebted- <br />ness. ~. <br />shall be deemed the representation of the Village as tQ all matters <br />therein stated. <br />`7, .:The proceeds of the taxes assessed in 1949 for the Fire <br />Pr©teetion Fund against ~rhich this tax anticipation Qertificate <br />is issued and the full faith and credit of the Village shall b;~~, <br />
