1 ?' <br />Alice Gibbs <br />Nelson letter <br />Constable <br />bond <br />premium <br />Jan. 9 meeting <br />postponed. <br />of December 9, 1950, was read, thanking the Village for <br />compensating her for Village election ser vices. <br />Letter was read from Attorney Graham expressing opinion <br />that it would be illegal for the Village to pay premium. <br />on the Constable's bond. <br />After discussion, it was ordered to postpone the regular meeting <br />of January 9, 1951, until 7:30 P.M., Y~ednesday, January 10', 1951. <br />Treasurer Treasurer Van Hoven reported receipt of tax settlement of <br />reports X7,954.75 for period June 1, 1950 to October 31, 1950, and how <br />total amounts received so far this year compared with budget <br />estimates. Also pointed out that the Village still owes the <br />bank ,5,000 plus interest on tax anticipation certificate of <br />indebtedness. <br />Fund transfer ~' <br />On r ecommendation; of the Treasurer, Henry moved th at X3,500.00 <br />be transferred from ~e General Fund to the Fire Equipment Fund, <br />with the intention o returning the full amount to the General <br />Fund out of the May tax settlement expected in August, 1951. <br />Seconded by Shavor and carried unanimously. <br />Tax Anticipation After discussion of X5,000 balance-with interest owing on the <br />Certificate of Tax Anticipation Certificate of Indebtedness, Henry moved that <br />Indebtedness the treasurer be authorized to pay to the Falcon Hei ghts State <br />ordered paid. Bank the balance due on the Tax Anticipation Certificate of <br />Indebtedness, including both principal and interest, before the <br />end of the Year.
