8'5' <br /> <br />1 <br />Village Financil statement, and direct the clerk to keep a copy on <br />file for public inspection, together with a copy of the Treasurer's <br />report, and that the clerk be authorized to have the statement <br />published in the Rose Tribune of February 1, 1951, if the coat of <br />such publication does not exceed X65.00. Unanimously carried. <br />University <br />Land purchase. Lynn Matteson appeared before the Council to report on negotiations <br />with the University as to purchase of the land occupied by the <br />Village Hall and Fire Station. After discussion, Lindig moved that <br />Matteson be authorized to proceed on the basis that a thi rd appraiser <br />be appointed by appraisers for the Village and appraisers for the <br />University, with the understanding that the appraisal of the appointee <br />will not be binding on either tre Village or the University. Graham, Attorney <br />Absent: Ralph Van Hoven, Treasurer <br />Meeting called to order at 7:50 PM and minutes of regular meeting, <br />Jan. 23, and of special meetin g, Jan. 28, 1951, approved as read. <br />Proposed For the area bounded by Fairview, Cleveland, Larpenteur and Roselawn, <br />Street was discussed with the Counoil by Lorris Williams and C. K. Otis, oP <br />Plan the Plaaning Commission. It was agreed that after the plans are <br />completed, the affected property owners will be asked to attend a <br />meeting of the Counoil for an informal discussion of the proposed <br />street plan. <br />
