1' <br />.Rain coats, Matter of providing additional rain coats, boots and helmets, <br />boots, including four sets of each, so as to have complete equipment <br />helmets in this respect for volunteers, was again discussed. Rekstad <br />moved approval of purchase with the understanding that the Firo <br />Chief clear with the Clerk before planing the order. Seconded by <br />Stewart and carried unanimously. <br />Deluge Fire Chief Swanson's letter of July 16, 1951, was rend, relative to <br />nozzle trying out a junior size deluge nozzle with unsatisfactory results <br />except with the smallest tip (1-3~8"). <br />Insurance The Clerk advised that the Mercury Insurance Company wished to <br />Policy, 1947 replace policy No. 470-05-425, oovering 194? Ward La France fire <br />hard La Franc truck with policy No. No. 470-08-719, at a reduced premium of <br />fire truck - X130.66 based on replaoemer~t costs, with the understanci~hat if <br />refund neceptable to the Council, a refund in premium costs of X35.05 <br />would be made to the Village. On motion by Rekstad, seconded by <br />Henry, it was voted unanimously to accept the substitute policy <br />and refund. <br />Imhoff Letter from Harold Imhoff, offering his resignation as assistant <br />resigns fire chief, effective July 15, 1951, was read. Rekstad moved <br />acceptance oP Imhoff's resignation, seoonded by Henry and carried <br />unanimously. <br />Purohase ' Disoussion was held on proposed requisition forms furnished by <br />requisitions the Public Examiner's office covering purchases. The clerk was <br />directed to ch eck the minutes to see what p revious action, i f any, <br />had been taken with respect to limiting monthly purchases of the <br />Fire Chi ef.. <br />Drainage Letter from Albert J. Helbig, 1547 West Idaho, relative to water <br />on the back of his lot, was read. <br />Falcon Heights With respect to correcting condi tions at the Falcon Heights Dry <br />Dry Cleaners Cleaners,-it was agreed to have Attorney Graham follow this matter <br />up through the State Fire Marshal's office and to report back at <br />the next meeting. <br />Boulevard The matter of uprooted and damaged boulevard trees due to the recent <br />trees storm, waa discussed and referred to Street Commissioner Seaborn. <br />Roseville Letter from B.H. Hammersten, Clerk, Village of Roseville, regarding <br />delivers fence posts due in connection with division of property of the former <br />fence posts. Town of Rose, was read. Stewart reported that the fence posts, <br />numbering 87, were delivered to the Village Hall shortly after <br />receipt of Hauunersten's letter, thus completing the division of <br />jointly owned property. <br />Adjournment On motion, the meeting adjourned at 11:50 P.M. <br />Approved: - erk <br />Mayor <br />
