Nelson Discussion was held with D. d. Nelson, of the D.A. Nelson Construction <br />Construction, Company, relat ive to construction of three two-Family bungalows on <br />Ino. - 3 - Arona between Idaho and Larpenteur. Graham, Attorney <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. for the purpose of <br />discussing Fire Department matters with Fire Chief Swanson and with Andrew <br />Hustrulid, Chairman, and Gordon Nelson of the Fire Department Committee. <br />Fire Chief Swanson's letters of May 5 and June 4, 1951, were <br />read with rePcrence to wage ad3ustmenta and to furnishing the Fire Chief, as part <br />of his compensation, living quarters fully electrified. <br />After considerable discussion, Stewart moved that the question <br />of the Fire ChfeP's salary be referred to the Fire Departaent Committee for con- <br />sideration Prom the standpoint of what the latest Fire Department salary figures <br />are in comparable communities, the rental value of his apartment, or anything <br />that may be worth while in helping the Council to reach a p roper decision. <br />Secord ed by Henry and carried unanimously. <br />Ad3ournmen't - On motion, the meeting adjourned at 9:53 P.M. <br />Approved - <br />Acf~ Mayor r <br />
