E. Swanson, car mileage, 8-51, X17.01 <br />Faloon Heights Hardware, supplies, 8-51, X13.58 <br />Geo. E. Swanson, vol. firemen payroll, 8-51, X69.00 <br />Badens Pure Oil Service, kerosene, 8-51, X1.20 <br />S. Andrew Hustrulid, Chairman, Fire Proteotion Committee, read the <br />salaries Committee's report, presenting figures on salaries of Fire Depart- <br />ment personnel in various Minnesota villages, indicating that until <br />further living coats occur and~or other duties are required, that <br />present compensation of the Chief, including salary and renting of <br />living quarters at X50.00 per month, is adequate. After discussion, <br />Rekstad moved acceptance of the Fire Protection Committee's repo rt <br />and that the salary question be closed at this time, the Clerk to <br />so advise Fire Chief Swanson. Seconded by Lindig and carried un- <br />animously. <br />Planning Attorney Graham reported on matters discussed previously at a <br />Commission- meeting of the Planning Commission, relating to powers of the <br />Street Commission with respect to unplatted property, development of streets <br />plan. and costs usually borne by aiutting property owners and the Village. <br />Discussion followed as to the proposed street between Fairview, <br />Cleveland, Larpenteur and County Road A-2. Chairman Lorris Williams, <br />of the Planning Commission, being present, was asked to have the <br />Commission revise the proposed street plan for further consideration <br />at an informal meeting with the property orezers later. <br />Building oper- Copy of Attorney Graham's letter to Douglas Rees, requ esting a meeting <br />ations - with the latter to discuss matters relating to operation of buildings <br />Douglas Rees north of Larpenteur with respect to air conditioning water, condition <br />of alley, use of eess pool at rear of dry cleaners, eta., was read. <br />Hoyt, Iowa, ~ agreement si fined by the owners of property abutting on the alley <br />Arona & Pascal bounded by Hoyt, Iowa, Arona and Pascal, providing for improvement <br />Alley of said alley, was presented to the Council. After discussion, <br />the following r esolution, on motion by Stewart, seconded by Shavor, <br />was unanimously adopted: <br /> <br />
