Lindig, Trustee <br />The meeti rig was called t o order at 8;10 A.M. for the purpose of <br />considering budget requests for 1952. <br />Public Don Arndt, Chairman, Public Safety Committee, reported on the <br />Safety number and nature of Pillage calls received and answered by <br />the Sheriff's office the first five months of this year. On <br />the basis of these calls sold Arndt's own observation of con- • <br />ditions, his recommendation was that the Village continua the <br />arrangement we now have with the Sheriff's office. For possible <br />emergency needs, such as providing our own patrol service, in- <br />cluding Civilian Defense, he recommended appropriating $2,000.00 <br />for 1952 to be held in reserve. <br />Fire Pro- Andrew Hustrulid, Chairman, Fire Department Committee, submitted <br />tection Com- preliminary figures covering 1952 budget needs of the Fire Depart- <br />mittee merit amounting to X14,065.00 for maintenance and X1,509.00 for <br />equipment. <br />Streets - Tentative 1952 budge figures of $13,000.00 for Streets and <br />Parks & X1,500.00 for Parks and Playgrounds were also considered. <br />Playgrounds • <br />It was agreed to postpone final action on the proposed budget <br />until next meeting. <br />Adjournment: On motion, the meeting adjourned at 11:00 P.M. <br />~--~ /Y - ~ .D t Lam.
