~~~ Farmers The clerk was requested to write Mr. Thatcher, expressing thanks Union of the Council for invitations to the Annual Banquet of the Grain Farmers Union Grain Terminal Association, held the evening of Terminal December 11, 1951. Due to the lot being low and because building on it wou ld interfere with natural drainage, it was stated that the requested building permit could not be issued at this time. Village After discussion, Henry moved that printing required by any village printing officer or department be approved by the Council and purchased thru the villa gge clerk, and that the clerk so notify al l c aricerned. Seconded by Rekstad and carried unanimously. Falcon Dry The Falcon Dry Cleaners situation was discussed and the need of Cleaners having an ordinance for correcting conditions complained toP, was referred to Attorney Graham. Christmas Application of R. S. Norrgard, 1288 West Garden, St Paul, to tree. lot operate a Christmas tree lot at the S.E. corner of Larpenteur and Snelling for the period ending December 24, 1951, was approved on motion by Rekstad, seconded by henry. State Regarding State Firemen's Training School, to be held at St Paul Firemen's Campus, April 28, 29 and 30, and May 1 and 2, 1952; Shavor moved, Training seconded by Henry, that the matter be referred to the Fire Depart- School meet committee for their recommendation.
