Lindig moved, Shavor seconded, that $3,500.00 now be transferred from the Fire Equipment fund to the General fund. Carried unanimously. Fire Department On motion by Henry, seconded by Shavor, it was voted unanimously Relief Assn. that the our rent balance of X279.47 in the Fi re Department Relief Association fund be paid to the Fire Department Relief Assooiation. This amount represents the full amount of 1951 receipts in the Fire Department Relief Association fund from the one-tenth of one mill levy and from the state aid granted fire departments. Constable's Lindig moved that the X500.00 Public Official's bond No. 2443319, bond of the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York, submitted to the Council by Constable elect Kenneth J. Barthel, having been approved by the Mayor and the Attorney, be approved by the Council and be filed with the Clerk. Rekstad seconded and motion serried unanimous- ly. Treasurer's Treasurer Van Hoven reported two quotations from insurance firms bond covering his bond du ring the coming two-year term. The matter was referred to the Attorney to determine the amount of coverage required for the treasurer. Planning The Falcon Heights Planning Commission's annual report, dated Commission December 13, 1951, was submitted to the counoil and read in its Annual Report entirety by Mayor Henry. Henry than moved, seconded by Shavor, that the report be accepted aYrl approved by the Council, that it be filed with the clerk, and that the clerk be requested to write a letter, exp ressing the Council's appreciation and thanks For the very good work par formed by the Commission in 1951. The motion carried unanimously. Recommendation Mayor Henry read a letter from C. K. Otis, secretary of the for certain Falcon Heights Planning Commission, requesting certain changes Ordinsnee to Ordinances Nos. 3, 8 and 10, with respect to the Planning changes Commission.
