~,. <br />~~~ <br />Fund transfer Treasurer Van Hoven also recommended return of the temporary <br />to General Fund fund transfer of Deoember 26, 1950, in an amount of X3,500.00, <br />originally made from the General fund to the Fire Equipment <br />fund. Lindig moved, Shavor seconded, that $3,500.00 now be <br />transferred from the Fire Equipment fund to the General fund. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />Fire Department On motion by Henry, seconded by Shavor, it was voted unanimously <br />Relief Assn. that the our rent balance of X279.47 in the Fi re Department Relief <br />Association fund be paid to the Fire Department Relief Assooiation. <br />This amount represents the full amount of 1951 receipts in the <br />Fire Department Relief Association fund from the one-tenth of one <br />mill levy and from the state aid granted fire departments. <br />Constable's Lindig moved that the X500.00 Public Official's bond No. 2443319, <br />bond of the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York, submitted to the <br />Council by Constable elect Kenneth J. Barthel, having been approved <br />by the Mayor and the Attorney, be approved by the Council and be <br />filed with the Clerk. Rekstad seconded and motion serried unanimous- <br />ly. <br />Treasurer's Treasurer Van Hoven reported two quotations from insurance firms <br />bond covering his bond du ring the coming two-year term. The matter <br />was referred to the Attorney to determine the amount of coverage <br />required for the treasurer. <br />Planning The Falcon Heights Planning Commission's annual report, dated <br />Commission December 13, 1951, was submitted to the counoil and read in its <br />Annual Report entirety by Mayor Henry. Henry than moved, seconded by Shavor, <br />that the report be accepted aYrl approved by the Council, that it <br />be filed with the clerk, and that the clerk be requested to write <br />a letter, exp ressing the Council's appreciation and thanks For <br />the very good work par formed by the Commission in 1951. The <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Recommendation Mayor Henry read a letter from C. K. Otis, secretary of the <br />for certain Falcon Heights Planning Commission, requesting certain changes <br />Ordinsnee to Ordinances Nos. 3, 8 and 10, with respect to the Planning <br />changes Commission.
