Graham, Attorney <br />The Mayor declared the meeting open at ?:30 P.M. and called on <br />Lorris Williams, Chairman, Planning Commission, to explain the latest revision of <br />the proposed street plan for the Larpenteur and Snelling area.. The meeting was <br />then opened to genes°al discussion, those taking part including the following:. <br />Bu:3inessmen's Committee: <br />C. J. Lessard, L. & L. A. Gallaher , 96ember <br />G.S~ Seabo rn, Member <br />Street Plan, Each member of the businessmen's committee was called on for <br />Larpenteur gnmmtffi-bas. These related to the width of Larpenteur in the proposed <br />Saalling plan east and west of Snelling Avenue, installing of curb, parking <br />on the street side of the curb, traffic turns at Arone, pedestrian <br />cross walk, synchronizing proposed street signal at Arona and <br />Larpenteur with Snelling Avenue signal, possibility of changing <br />parking arrangement to Pit in with conditions as they develop. <br />In answer to a question raised by Don Julep, Mr. Crag-pton stated <br />that the. parking area should be as the same height as the curb, <br />and that it might be necessary to put in a plank rail to keep <br />people from backing out over the curb. Crampton also said the <br />County would stake out and take care of the black topping between <br />ourbing on the street. Installing of curbing, he said, was up to <br />the property owners, and that surfacing by the County would go in <br />first. Mr. Julep then asked if he could borrow a set of the <br />proposed plans to show the property owners involved to determine <br />Plans to if all were in accord with the proposed 60-Foot width for Larpenteur. <br />Julep Mr. Julep was given one of the revised plans with the understanding <br />that he would report back wit hip two or three days on what was <br />decid ed. <br />
