~J Then on motion by henry, seconded by Stewart, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: ON WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted the nth day of April, 1952, fined May 13, 1952 at 8 s30 P.M. as the time and plac® for a hearing on the proposed improvement of the follow- ing alleys: between Idaho and Calif ornia from the west line of Albert to the east line of Pascal, between Hoyt and Iowa from the west line of Pascal to the east line of Arona, between Iowa and Idaho from the west line of Hamline to the east line of Albert, between California and Larpenteur from the west line of Pascal to the east line of Arona, between California and Larpenteur from the west line of Albert to the east line of Pascal, between Larpenteur and Crawford from the west line of Pascal to the east line of Arona, and between Idaho and Iowa from the west line of Pascal to the east line of Arona, and WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed for the making of these improvements ware given two-weeks published notice of the Council hearing, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon on the 13th day of May, 1952, NOW THEREFORE, BS IT RESOLVED BY THE COtTNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS: 1. That the improvement of the alleys as suggested is hereby ordered, z ~~~ 2. Milner W. Carley is hereby designated as the engineer for the village of Falcon Heights for this improvement, and is hereby directed to prepare plans and specifications for the improvement of each of the said alleys, said plans and specifications to be so prepared that the bids shall be broken down to show the cost of making the improvement on each particular alley since this information will be necessary for assessment purposes, Said specifications are also to be in the al ternative so that bidders will bid on the several .different types of surfacing which are being considered.
