~~ <br />X82 <br />Resolution After full discussion, the following resolution on motion by <br />Rekstad, seconded by Lindig, was adopted by a unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER, ORD ~3ING IMPROVEMENT AND <br />PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted the 15th day <br />of April, 1952, fixed May 13, 1952, at 8:00 P.iui., in the Village <br />Hall, 1644 West Larpenteur, as the time and place for a hearing on <br />proposed installation of curbing on Larpenteur Avenue from Snelling <br />Avenue to Arona Avenue; <br />WHEP.EAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed <br />for the making of this impro vement were given two-weeks' published <br />notice of the council hearing, and the hearing was held and the <br />property owners heard thereon on the 13th day of May, 1952; <br />NOi~7 THE'_?EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS: <br />1. That the curbing improvement as recommended by the county <br />Surveyor is hereby ordered. <br />2. That the County Surveyor is hereby designated as the engineer <br />for the Village of Falcon Heights to prepare plans and specifications <br />for said curbing improvement, said plans and specifications to be <br />submitted to the Village Attorney for checking. <br /> <br />1 <br />Village In discussing proposed Villa ge entrance signs today with Mr. C.J. <br />signs Lessard, the Mayor reported that Mr. Lessard urged immediate <br />ordering of the signs as per specifications and costs received <br />from the County Engineer under date of April 22, 1952, and that <br />he (Lessard) personally agreed to bear half the expense. <br />Adjournment: On motion, the meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M. <br />Approved: <br />Mayor <br />1 <br />
