<br />Scarletina Health Officer Lindig reported a case of Scarletina, David <br /> Carthwright, and the placarding on November 3, 1952, of the <br /> residence involved at 1800 North Albert street. <br />Mayors' b9ayor Henry reported on the ;~ayors' meeting held on the <br />meetin g University Campus, the evening of November 7, 1952, and <br /> attended by him and Truste® Shavor. <br />Street After discussion, Stewart moved that the proposed street plan <br />plans to for the area bounded by Snelling Fairview, Larpenteur and <br />Planning Roselawn, and also the proposed street plan for the area west <br />Committee of Tatum, be referred to the Planning Committee, for study and <br /> recommendation. Seconded by r3enry and carried unanimously. <br />Falcon Heights Dwight !?eiehow, representing the School Board, extended a.n <br />School invitation to the council and to members of standing. committees <br /> to attend open house at the new Falcon Heights Elementary School <br /> Sunday afternoon, lvrovember 16, 1952. <br />Tatum Street Following a discussion, Shavor moved that order be placed wit h <br />drainage Engineer Milner ~w. Carley for survey of Tatum Street for drainage <br />purposes and for his recommendation with respect to controlling <br />surface water. Henry seco nded and motion carried unanimously. <br />Skating Dwig ht Reichow reported on the proposed skating and hockey rink <br />rink in the Park area. It was agreed that Rekstad should take char ge <br />of arrangements for flooding the rink at the proper time and For <br />having dry wells cleaned out so the latter will function properly. <br />The University Grove East Association will be asked to have <br />representatives on hand when the Park rink is flooded so as to <br />observe handling of the fire hose which will be loaned to them <br />for flooding of the Association's skating rink. <br />Telephone Co. Rekstad moved, seconded by Lindig, th at the clerk write a letter <br />poles to the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, requesting removal <br />of their poles from the Village Park and Flayground area. Carried <br />unanimously. <br />Ordinances - The proposed Board of Health ordinance was read section by section. <br />Health Attorney Graham will prepare a revisea~ copy and submit same to the <br />Nuisance Mayor. The proposed nuisance ordinance was referred to the Mayor <br />and to Trustee Shavor for study and recommendation. <br />Bldgs. & Local Assessor rYilliam Torgerson presented a letter and report <br />ea~uipment, dated Novemb er 11, 1952, relating to the County Assessor's opinion <br />State Fair that the Village is receiving proper credit on all valuations at <br />Grounds the Fair Grounds. <br />Village Attorney Graham was asked to check to see i f the Village Eiall <br />Election might be designated as the polling place for Precincts Nos. 1 and <br />2 for the Annual Village Election, December 2, 1952. <br />Transfer to On recommendation of Treasurer Van Hoven, Lindig moved that X968.77 <br />Special be transferred from the General fund to the Special assessments <br />Assessments fund to complete payment of balance owing on the 7-alley improvement. <br />Fund Seconded by Rekstad and carried unanimously. <br />~~~~~~~~ <br />
