Lindig <br />will contaot the Universi ty for names of instructors <br />residing in the Village who are qualified and willing to <br />serve. <br />Fire Dept. items Fire Department committee letter of March 18, 1953, was <br />read relating to Fire Departme~ items of expense and <br />recommending that all such items be requisitioned <br />1 except gasoline and oil, tare repairs, minor truck and <br />pump repairs. Also that in an emergency that the Fire <br />Chief or in his absence his assistant may purchase items <br />other than those listed, if in their judgment such item <br />or items are needed for immediate operational purposes. <br />Also that a proper supply of all items not sub~eet to <br />abnormal deterioration be kept on hand. Lodahl moved <br />~ approval of the Committee's recommendation. Seconded by <br />Lindig and carried unanimously. <br />Fire Dept. Regn.;~3 Under date oP April 1, 1953, and listing supplies needed <br />by Fire Department was considered. Lindig moved approval <br />of the requisition, seconded by Shavor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />J.P. fines Letter of April 3 from Justice of the Peace, Lloyd V. Riley, <br />refunded relating to fines of $3.00 and X5.00 respectively, which <br />were remitted to the Village but which are claimed by <br />Ramsey County since both traffic violations occurred in <br />County territory outsi de of Falcon Heights. Henry moved <br />that both oP the fines, totaling. $8.00, be refunded to <br />the County. Lodahl seconded and motion carried unanimously. <br />Smoke Eater for In connection with subscription for Fire Department <br />firemen members to the "Smoke Eater" magazine, Henry moved that <br />subscription be renewed for one year, commending with <br />June 1953.
