Motion Henry then moved that request be made on the Board of County Commissioners for permission to install a b®ttery-operated atop sign at Arona and Larpenteur avenues for controlling westbound Larpenteur avenue traffic only, also for permission to install a pedestrian cross-walk at the same intersection and a second pedestrian cross-walk at Larpenteur avenue and Snelling drive. J.S.Garske 1576 N.Snelling Appeared before the Council relative to filling in the lot he recently purchased, adjoining Pillage property at Snelling drive and Idaho avenue. Mr. Getrske was informed that it was not permissible to Pill in the lot so as to interfere with the natural drainage. He then asked for and reoeived permission to smooth and slope off the property. Building In connection with pending building inspector vacancy, Howard N. Inspector Christensen, 1452 California Avenue ~1est, appeared before the Council as an applicant for the position. Mr. Christensen stated that he works as a superintendent of construction and is also a carpenter by trade. Mr. Christensen was thanked for appearing and he then departed from the meeting.
