Mr. Banister <br /> agreed to amend the proposal of March lit to conform with <br /> our attorney's suggestions. <br />Discussion The proposal to sign a contract to take part in a 3oint <br /> sanitary sewer program with the Village of Roseville was <br />• discussed, also if a limited stif~dy only could be made to <br />- request St Paul for sewer connections for Falcon Heights <br /> on its own. The Mayor indicated he had been asked to <br /> meet with Mayor Olsen of Roseville and certain St Paul- <br /> council members to find out if Falcon Heights would endorse <br /> an overall program. After agreement that the committee, <br /> consisting of the Mayor and Trustees Hustrulid and Cartwright, <br /> should meet with local businessmen on procedure matters as <br /> directed previously, Hustrulid moved that a special meeting <br /> of the Council be held within a week to make final decision <br /> on the sanitary sewer problem. Seconded by Cartwright and <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br />Meeting It being 11 P. M., Stewart moved that the meeting be <br />extended extended in order to complete unfinished business. <br /> Seconded by Shavor and so ordered. <br />Public Safety Chairman Sid Bumgardner presented report and recommendations <br />Commission's of the Public Safety Commission, dated March 23, also a <br />report letter from the Probation department regarding 3uveniles. <br />Recommendations: As to sending letters to the University of Minnesota and <br />the State Fair Board informing them of the Attorney General's <br />Defer letters to opinion regarding traffic 3urisdiction~ in their areas; <br />University & State Stewart moved to defer sending said letters; seconded by <br />Fair Board. Stenzinger and so ordered. <br />As to requesting an opinion from the Attorney General regard- <br />Paice powers ing Falcon Heights police powers other than traffic in <br />other than University Grove, St Faul Farm Campusand State Fair grounds; <br />traffic - Univ.Grove, Hustrulid moved that this matter be referred to the Village <br />Farm Campus, State attorney for an opinion.
