63~~ <br />Fire insurance On motion of Cartwright, seconded by Hustrulid, the Clerk was <br />on warming authorized to take the steps necessary to put X500 worth of <br />house fire insurance on the new warming house if upon check it <br />appeared that the present fire insurance would not cover the <br />warming house. This motion was unanimously carried. <br />Warming On motion by Shavor, seconded by Hustrulid, Cartwright was <br />house - authorized to do whatever is necessary to have a step and <br />step & stove a stove guard built and installed at the warming house. <br />guard This motion was unanimouslT~carried. <br />Sanitary There was a discussion of the recent developments with respect <br />sewer to the Roseville sewer connection to the City of Saint 8au1. <br />matter Hustrulid is to check this matter further with I~r. Duvall to be <br />sure that Falcon Heights' position is protected. <br />Constable Attorney Graham reported that he had received a letter from <br />Swanson Constable Swanson dated December 12, 1955, asking certain <br />questions with respect to Justice of the Peace and Constable <br />fees. Attorney Graham was instructed to answer the letter <br />with copies to the councilmen. <br />A discussion was had with respect to additional costs which <br />might become payable to Constable Swanson where he was required <br />to appear before the Justice of the Peace in connection with a <br />Costs ,violation for which he had issued a tag. To avoid the situation <br />payable which could arise in these cases where the costs to persons <br />to Constable tagged by ~+bBSttb~e ~ansonfYP~st~e higher than the cost tagged <br />Swanson by the other peace officers, Cartwright moved, seconded by <br />Hustrulid, that any costs payable to Constable Swanson be paid <br />by the Village on presentation of a claim by Constable Swanson <br />rather than being added to the costs assessable against the <br />violator. This motion was unanimously carried. <br />Tax Treasurer Olsen reported that he .had received a December tax <br />Settlement settlement of X13,120.55. <br />Apartment Cartwright reported that the firemen had painted one bedroom <br />bedroom and were fixing up the living quarters in the apartment <br />painted etc. recently vacated. <br />Transfer from The Treasurer reported that the outstanding bonded indebtedness <br />Fire Equipt. on fire equipment had been paid off as scheduled by resolution <br />Bond Sinking adopted on August 9, 19It9, and that the present unused balance <br />fund to V.H.& in this fund amount~$ to X361.12. Hustrulid moved to authorize <br />Fire Sta. Bond transfer of X361.12 from the Fire Equipment Bond Sinking fund <br />sinking fund.. to the Village Hall and Fire Station Bond sinking fund.
