~~' 8 3 <br />Tank truck Letter under date of January 24, 1957, was read from the <br />insurance Mutual Service Life Insurance Compar~y, stating that the <br />coverage 1942 GMC truck (-tank truck) may be covered for fire, theft <br />and wind damage at an annual cost of 34¢ per hundred dollars <br />stated value annually. The letter also confirmed that the <br />tank truck is automatically covered under the Village's <br />comprehensive automobile liability policy for any liability <br />claims. <br />Metropolitan Letters acknowlec~ng receipt of the resolution passed by the <br />Planning council at its January 24, 1957, meeting supporting the <br />Commission proposed Metropolitan Planning Commission bill, were read. <br />bill These were from Governor Freeman, Senator Elmer L. Andersen, <br />and Representative John Tracy Anderson. An item in The <br />Minneapolis Star, of January 30, 1957, regarding the council's <br />action on the bill, was also read. <br />1 <br />Permit for Attorney Graham reported on a permit issued by the State Highway <br />Associated Department to the Village for a 10-inch sewer connection, <br />Investorrs permitting the Associated Investors' Shopping Center to connect <br />sewer connection .with the sanitary sewer. <br />Alley account- The Clerk was directed to write G. S. Seaborn that payment of <br />Seaborn the balance awing for work performed last summer on the alley <br /> opening on Albert and Pascal between Iowa and Idaho avenues, <br /> is overdue. <br />Village financial <br />statement <br />approved. <br />The Clerk presented printer's proofs of the annual village <br />financial statement for the year ended 1956. After discussion <br />of the statement, ilYarkentien moved that the council approve <br />the statement as prepared and that the Cle rk be authorized to <br />publish the statement in the February 21, 1957 issue of The <br />Rose Tribune.
