~~i) <br />Master Gas On motion by Utecht, seconded by Warkentien, approval <br />Installer's was voted for issuance of a Master Gas Installer's <br />licenses license for the year ending June 30, 1958, to each <br />of the following: <br />Grudem Brothers <br />The Snelling Company <br />Drive-In Application from Marvin Norm's Tastee Freez, 1702 N. <br />License Snelling, to operate an ice milk stand for the year <br />ending June 30, 1958, was approved on motion by <br />Utecht, seconded by Warkentien. <br />Minors employed Warkentien reported for Police Commissioner Arndt that <br />at Flaherty minors ranging in age from 1~. to 18 years of age were <br />Lanes being employed in Flaherty Bowling Lanes in spite of <br />previous warning that this violated State Law. On <br />motion by Utecht, seconded by Stewart, Trustee Warkentien <br />was authorized to advise Police Commissioner Arndt to <br />proceed to file a complaint under Ordinance No. 5. <br />Vol. Firemen protest Copy of letter dated July 10, 1957 to the Editor, <br />Sunday Pioneer Press Pioneer Press, St Paul, from the Falcon Heights <br />article re Fire Dept. After discussion, <br />Warkentien moved that Police Commissioner Arndt be <br />authorized to leave the markings off the doors of the <br />squad car and to replace the tax exempt plates with <br />regular license plates. Seconded by Shavor and motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Righi, turn only After discussion, Warkentien moved, seconded by Shavor, <br />eastbound on Larpenteur that the right hand lane eastbound on Larpelteur Avenue, <br />at Snelling at the intersection with Snelling, be marked "Right <br />Turn Only" by painting on the highway. Motion carried <br />unanimously and Trustee Nilsen asked to so advise the <br />County-,~!'raffic Engineer. <br />Bills: On motion by Shavor, seconded by Warkentien, the following <br />bills were ordered paid: <br />Briggs,Gilbert, Morton,Kyle & Macartney, <br />legal services, June, X603. <br />Northwestern Bell~el.
