Letter of August 7 from the Board of Ramsey County <br />Governmental Commissioners,, requesting recommendations for <br />Study Com. appointments to the Ramsey County Governmental Study <br />appts. Commission was read, and on motionby Shavor, secorfbd <br />by Sterrett, referred to the Attorney for report after <br />checking the statute. <br />Cert. #3, Cert. #3, covering 3rd estimate for partial payment <br />3rd estimate for on contract dated May 3, 1957, to the Peter Lametti <br />partial payt. Construction Company, in theamount of X156,060.23, <br />on Lametti Ras considered. Warkentien moved that said partial <br />contract. payment be authorized. Seconded by Shavor and motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />On Sale beer Applications for seven "On Sale" beet licenses desired <br />licenses, State Fair by State Fair ground applicants, together with check <br /> for X2l~5.00, covering license fees, were presented with <br /> letter of transmittal dated August 12, 1957, from Mr. <br /> H. D. Johnston, Superintendent, Space Rentals, Minnesota <br /> State Fair, listing the applie~nts names and addresses. <br /> On motion by Nilsen, seconded by Shavor, issuance of <br /> said licenses was approved. <br />M.G.I. license #103 On motion by Warkentien, seconded by Nilsen, the <br /> issuance of Master Gas Installer's license #103 to <br /> Dahl's Gas Heating Company, was approved. <br />To remove rock Nilsen reported that in checking on the Craig Company's <br />from streets work in resurfacing of the streets that many rocks were <br /> found in the street. After checking with the Attorney <br /> and the engineer, it was decided, he said, that the <br /> contract does not require the Lametti Construction Co. <br /> to remove rock that was brought up from trench excavation. <br /> The engineer recommended that the contractor be authorized <br /> to use rake equipment for removal of the rocks at a rental <br /> of X25 an hour. After discussion, Nilsen moved to authorize <br /> the sanitary setter engineer, Mr. Steffes, to request <br /> Lametti Construction Co. to bring in said equipment for <br /> removal of the rock on those portions of the streets where <br />the rock was brought up from the trench excavation, the <br /> work to be done as ~e~ermined by the Village Engineer and <br /> Trustee Nilsen.
