He will also work closely with the police to prevent crime. <br />A double barred/bolted security door, motion sensor system and <br />one way mirror in the office area will be installed. <br />Boche closed the Public Hearing at 8:18 P.M. <br />Finegan moved approval of the conditional use request with the <br />following conditions: <br />(1) Hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday <br />8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. <br />Friday and Saturday <br />8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. <br />(2) Meet all applicable city and state Codes. <br />(3) Review the conditional use conditions in six months <br />• following the opening of the business and yearly <br />thereafter. <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br />PROPOSED CHANGE OF MEETING DATE <br />The Planning Commission unanimously agreed to meet on the 4th <br />Monday of the month with the first meeting being February 26, <br />1990. <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FROM PLANNING CONSULTANTS TO ASSIST THE <br />CITY PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION WITH REVISING THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />MUNICIPAL PLAN <br />Susan Hoyt Taff reported that she mailed out eight requests for <br />proposals to planning consultants for updating/revising the Comprehensive <br />Municipal Plan. These are due by 4:30 P.M. February 23, 1990. <br />She also advised that the Metropolitan Council approved the City's <br />request for an extension to submit amendments to its comprehensive <br />plan. <br />PROPOSAL BY ARK DEVELOPMENT FOR THE SITE NORTH OF CITY HALL <br />Planner Susan Hoyt Taff reviewed the Proposal by Ark Development <br />for the site north of City Hall for a 100 unit elderly moderate <br />rent housing for seniors. She also reviewed the location, zoning, <br />project cost and financing. The developers would need Community <br />Development Block Grant funds and additional city loans to carry <br />• out the project. She will keep the Commission updated on future <br />developments. <br />
