MINUTES <br />REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />OCTOBER 25, 1993 <br />PRESENT: ABSENT: ALSO PRESENT: <br />Tom Brace Kay Andrews Susan Hoyt, Administrator <br />Lee Barry Len Boche Paul Colton, Planning Intern <br />Ken Salzberg Paul Kuettel Peter Bachman, Attorney <br />Lisa Lampi <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:35 by Lee Barry, Chair. <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE OF 2 FEET 10 INCHES IN THE FIVE FOOT <br />SIDEYARD SETBACK FOR 1804 TATUM STREET IN AN R-1 ZONE, CHAPTER 9, <br />X2.04 SUBD. 1(c) OF THE ZONING CODE. <br />Hoyt explained to Curt and Meredith Stockford, owners of the <br />property at 1804 Tatum Street that because there was no quorum, <br />the planning commission could not vote on a recommendation to the <br />city council to grant or deny the variance. The Stockfords, <br />however, decided they would put it before the city council <br />without the recommendation of the planning commission rather than <br />wait for the November meeting. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON HOME OCCUPATION CODE CHANGES AND PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON ADOPTING A HOUSING CODE <br />Postponed to the November meeting due to lack of a quorum. <br />DISCUSSION OF USES UNDER THE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT MORATORIUM <br />The commission members discussed the eight uses listed in the <br />city development moratorium with no decisions or recommendations <br />made. <br />Adjourned 9:15 p.m. <br />Susan Hoyt, Administrator <br />Dee Swenson, Recording Secretary <br />w <br />
