With Roland out this week, and being short-staffed, I was not able to update those for inclusion into this packet. As with last year, we are forecasting an approximate $110,000 less in LGA (we used the 2004 number as a placeholder in the Revenue Budget since we do not have the information from the Department of Revenue yet. In addition, there are a number of line items which will increase for 2004, and I have put together an analysis of the largest increases below. The total increase over 2004 is approximately $105, 489. Health Insurance: Again this year, we are forecasting an 18% increase in employee health insurance. Right now, we have 6 employees who utilize the city's insurance. Three of those employees are covering families. Three are individually insured. The city covers 75% of family coverage, and 100% of individual coverage. The final increase could be lower than 18%, however, we needed to have a number to plug into the budget. We anticipate that this will represent an approximate increase of $16, 776 to the budget. • Personnel: We are proposing a new full-time position that would encompass the Parks and Recreation Supervisor role, and apart-time administrative assistant role.
