POLICY H4 <br />1/28/04 <br />ITEM: Approval of grant agreement regarding Metropolitan Council <br />Metropolitan Livable Communities Act, TBRA Funds <br />SUBMITTED BY: Heather Worthington, City Administrator <br />REVIEWED BY: Roger Knutson, City Attorney <br />EXPLANATION: <br />Summary: The City has received a grant through the Tax Base Revitalization Account Program <br />through the Met Council and Department of Trade and Economic Development. This grant will <br />be structure on a reimbursement basis for removal of asbestos from the Northome Shopping <br />Center demolition, which took place in late 2003. <br />This grant will ensure that the developer is complying with the grant requirements as set forth by <br />the Met Council.
