Many positive comments <br />were made about each firm. Kern, DeWenter, Viere had been working with GASB34 since 2000 <br />and assisted the City of Roseville to be the first city in the state to be GASB34 compliant in <br />2000. <br />Kern, DeWenter, Viere assisted Falcon Heights to be the second city in the state to be GASB34 <br />compliant in 2001. HLB Tauges, Redpath had completed a city under GASB34 in 2001. <br />Larson, Allen, Weishair completed their first city audit under GASB34 in 2002. <br />Also, each firm was asked about their participation in continuing education dealing with the <br />implementation of GASB34. Was the firm a leader in providing education to all cities in <br />Minnesota with the implementation of GASB34? Kern, DeWenter, Viere has actively <br />participated in the annual state wide Minnesota GFOA Conference with GASB34 <br />topics/seminars in 2001, 2002, and 2003.
