CONSENT G4 <br />• 4/28/04 <br />ITEM: Approval of agreement between the City of Falcon Heights and the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation for payment to the City for <br />the construction to be performed at Curtiss Field pond and <br />Resolution 04-09 authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to <br />execute that agreement <br />SUBMITTED BY: Bill Maertz, Director, Parks and Public Works <br />REVIEWED BY: Heather Worthington, City Administrator <br />EXPLANATION: <br />Summary: As part of the Municipal Agreement Program, the State Department of <br />Transportation will contribute up to $54,000 toward the improvements at Curtiss Field pond. <br />This agreement provides for payment to the City and outlines the maintenance responsibilities <br />of both MN DOT and the City. <br />In addition, MN DOT requires a resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to <br />execute this agreement. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />State of innesota Department of Transportation Cooperative Agreement on pages <br />.. <br />Resolution authorizing t e Mayor and City Administrator to execute Cooperative <br />Agreement on page <br />Cost participation plan sheets on pages "~ <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />• Approval of Cooperative Agreement and authorization for Mayor and City Administrator <br />to execute that agreement <br />L~ <br />40 <br />
