The latest <br />proposal, distributed to you on October 6`'', included a levy of $805,800 to be redistributed based <br />on population with each municipality determining how their funds are to be used in accordance <br />with state law. This could include support for projects within the community, pooling resources <br />with other communities for joint projects or purchasing services from the Housing Resource <br />Center. <br />• <br />On Tuesday, December 2 beginning at 9:00 A.M. the Ramsey County HRA will again discuss <br />the levy and.provide an opportunity for input from each of the municipalities. At this time the <br />Board will likely make a decision on whether or not to adopt the levy. While this is not a public <br />hearing, community representatives are encouraged to attend and provide comment on the levy. <br />Some communities have already sent letters which will be included as part of the information <br />packet for each commissioner. County staff will also be present to identify how the levy might <br />impact typical properties in a community. <br />If you wish to comment on the levy but cannot attend you may write a letter which will be <br />forwarded to each of the Corrunissioners.
