The City
gives about $7,000 a year to Northwest Youth and Family Services. They provide a lot of
mental health counseling and work with juveniles. Also, their Senior Chore Program is very
important and he wants to make sure the police officers know about it. It connects youth in
diversion with seniors who need assistance. Northwest Youth and Family Services is a really
worthwhile organization and it has been a pleasure to be on the Board this past year.
INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Council member Kuettel reminded the cable audience that if they put their Christmas trees and
garbage cans out for pickup, they might want to check on them because they may have been
blown away.
Administrator Worthington said that the City of Falcon Heights has been nominated for the
Governor's Emergency Management Award for its homeland security activities. Also, about 300
people returned the City survey and the results will be on the web site and available at City Hall.
The regular City Council meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
Mary Shea Kodluboy
Deputy Clerk
