• CONSENT ITEM: F4 <br />2/12/03 <br />ITEM: Appointments to the Neighborhood Commission <br />SUBMITTED BY: Sue Gehrz, Mayor <br />EXPLANATION: <br />Summary: The following individuals have agreed to serve on the Neighborhood <br />Commission: Lt. Dominic Cotroneo is a member of the St. Anthony Police Department, <br />and Capt. Dan Johnson-Powers is a member of the Falcon Heights Fire Department. <br />Both have experience in emergency planning, and will serve in a role as liaison to their <br />respective public safety departments. <br />Dan Johnson-Powers has also agreed to participate in the CERT (Community Emergency <br />Response Teams) train-the-trainer program later this year, and become the CERT liaison <br />for Falcon Heights. <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />• Appointment of Capt. Dan Johnson-Powers and Lt. Dominic Cotroneo to the <br />Neighborhood Commission. <br />• <br />/~ <br />
