That means that others have recognized your volunteer service, leadership <br />skills, and citizenship in this community. <br />. On Wednesday, March 26, from 7:00 to 7:30 PM, we plan to recognize you and the other award <br />nominees and announce the recipient of the award. This will take place in the Council Chambers <br />at City Hall as a special program on the agenda of our City Council meeting. <br />We hope that your schedule allows you to participate in this exciting event which will be seen by <br />many Falcon Heights residents on cable television. Each nominee will be asked to talk for two or <br />three minutes about his or her volunteer experience. For example, what you have gained from <br />volunteering or why you feel that, serving your community is important. Neal Kwong's brother, <br />Alan, and sister, Laura, will be introducing you to the audience. <br />This will be a great opportunity for your family and friends to take some photos of you sharing <br />some of your thoughts with your community. Be sure and invite them to come. <br />The name of the person selected as the Neal Kwong Youth Citizenship Award recipient for <br />service in the year 2002 will be engraved on a beautiful permanent plaque in the lobby of City <br />Hall. This is the second year of this annual award in Falcon Heights. <br />Please let me know if you can or cannot come on March 26.
