<br />• <br />CONSENT G4 <br />2/9/05 <br />ADDENDUM <br />ITEM: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />REVIEWED BY: <br />EXPLANATION: <br />Compensation increases for Finance Director and City <br />Administrator <br />Mayor Gehrz <br />Councilmembers Kuettel, Lamb, Talbot and Lindstrom <br />Summary: In September 2003, the City Council requested a comprehensive salary <br />review of city employees. This was subsequently discussed in a council workshop, and <br />two recommendations were made by the Council for additional compensation over a <br />three-year period, commencing in 2004. For 2004 and 2005, this additional <br />compensation was programmed into the budget, with increases as follows: <br />Finance Director: $3,756 increase to $56,537 <br />City Administrator: $4,770 increase to $65,228 <br />This recommendation is retroactive to January 1, 2005. This is part of a comprehensive <br />study of employee salaries compared to the market of Group 7 cities utilizing the Stanton <br />Salary Survey. <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />• Approval of compensation increases for Finance Director and City Administrator <br />• <br />
