POLICY H4 <br />3/9/05 <br />ITEM: Step increase and title change for Greg Hoag, Director of Public <br />Works <br />SUBMITTED BY: Heather Worthington, City Administrator <br />EXPLANATION: <br />Summary: Greg Hoag has completed his six-month employment probation with the city, and <br />has had excellent performance during this period. <br />Greg has become an integral member of our management team here at the city, and his <br />exemplary performance has been invaluable to the city's residents, employees, and business and <br />institutional property owners. <br />Greg has shown excellent judgment, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take on new duties <br />and responsibilities as needed. <br />At this time, I am recommending a 5% step increase for Greg, and a title change to Director of <br />Parks and Public Works to better reflect his job duties and responsibilities. <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />• Approval of step increase and title change for Greg Hoag <br />3a <br />
