• <br />• <br />10. Prepare and coordinate recreational schedules, rules, staff, and facilities for all programs <br />and activities. <br />11. Act as the liaison to the School District, other Cities, and community organizations as <br />they relate to the recreation program. <br />12. Attend Park Commission meetings as requested by the Public Works Director. <br />13. Plan and implement city-wide special events including, but not limited to, Summer Ice <br />Cream Social and Dead of Winter event. <br />14. Prepare brochures, registration information, and special event flyers. <br />15. Assist other city departments in their duties to include, but not limited to, scheduling <br />facility use, answering phones, providing service to customers, copying, filing, data <br />entry, and special projects. <br />16. Develop the City's quarterly newsletter. <br />17. Compose, edit and proofread material. <br />18. Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as apparent or as assigned. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES <br />1. Interpersonal and public relations skills. <br />2. Ability to work as a team member. <br />3. Skilled in paying attention to detail. <br />4. Ability to adapt to and introduce change. <br />5.
