POLICY Hl <br />ITEM: Consideration of the Human Rights Commission Bias/Hate Response Plan <br />SUBMITTED BY: Human Rights Commission <br />EXPLANATION: <br />Summary: The attached Bias/Hate Response plan was drafted by the Human Rights <br />Commission. The goal of this plan is to provide a framework for the city's response to bias and <br />hate crimes. <br />In early August, the city experienced a hate crime, and the commission and staff utilized this <br />framework for the city's response.
