c. The public response and educational prevention <br />i. Community responders network local media (after approval by victim) via <br />letters, radio call-in programs, and other means to express individual and <br />collective outrage <br />ii. Work with local school, religious, and community groups to develop <br />educational programs about the issued raised by the bias/hate crime. <br />III. The Long-Term Response <br />a. Develop and maintain an active list of community responders <br />b. Participate in League of Human Rights programs and workshops <br />c. Develop proactive educational programs promoting tolerance, respect for basic <br />human rights, and appreciation for diversity. <br />
