• <br />CONSENT G2 <br />10/12/05 <br />ITEM: Approval of Election Judges for November 8 City Election <br />SUBMITTED BY: Stacey Kreuser, Deputy Clerk <br />REVIEWED BY: Heather Worthington, City Administrator <br />Kathy Glanzer, Little Canada City Clerk and Election Coordinator <br />EXPLANATION: <br />Summary: Each year that elections are held, City Councils, by the authority granted to them <br />under Minnesota State Statute 204B.21, Subd. 2, appoint the election judges for their respective <br />municipalities. <br />This year there are two elections, the municipal election and the school board election, on <br />Tuesday, November 8, 2005. There are two precincts in Falcon Heights, Precinct 1 -City Hall <br />and Precinct 2 -Falcon Heights Elementary School. A majority of the judges work one shift, <br />either from 6 AM to 2 PM or from 2 PM to close, with some of the judges, particularly the head <br />judges, working a double shift from 6 AM to Close. <br />ATTACHMENT: <br />Proposed resolution appointing election judges for the upcoming municipal and school <br />board election. <br />• <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />• Adoption of proposed resolution. <br />• <br />
