The cooling water
system will replace the existing once--through well water
system they are presently utilizing. The State of Minnesota
through the Department of Natural Resources is requiring by
law that all users of a once--through well water systems to
convert their systems to a water efficient alternative based
upon the age of the existing systems. The system designed
utilizes a cooling water tower that would be located on the
south side of the building as shown on the drawings. The
purpose of the tower is to remove heat from the water in the
cooling system and dissipate it to the atmosphere.
Should you require any further information please contact us
at your earliest convenience.
Very Trt}~.y Yours
s'~( -
~~%~
Ma k Whims
cc: 94-161/permits
Jim Hoel/HSC-ST.
