CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />1995 BUDGET <br />• <br />DEPARTMENT: General Capital Improvements <br />ACTIVITY: Capital project funds and five year capital improvement <br />plan <br />ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: Administration section provides for capital <br />expenditures in and around city hall <br />ANALYSIS/COMMENTS: The 1995 planned expenditures are for replacement of <br />existing equipment and include: <br />• $ 5,000 of the computer purchases definitely includes the <br />purchase of two computers to update the secretaries' 1991 and <br />1992 computers. This will provide their computers for the <br />public works department and to the fire department, which <br />currently have no computers. It also includes the purchase <br />of two printers. <br />• The remaining $9,000 of computer money is tentatively <br />allocated for replacing and upgrading the finance <br />department's UNIX system, which was purchased in 1989. <br />• The copier will need to be replaced this year. The current <br />1989 copier has an increasing number of repairs and is no . <br />longer reliable, particularly for large batches and two-sided <br />- copies. <br />• The roof, which chronically leaks despite repairs, will need <br />to be replaced. <br />• Landscaping of the city hall grounds is planned.
