Past work includes projects in the public and <br />private sectors throughout the midwest. <br />Mr. Schroeder was previously a landscape architect with several firms, <br />including BRW, Inc., Ernst Associates, and Martin and Pitz Associates, Inc. <br />He has presented workshops and lectures on "grass roots" planning and <br />design, citizen participation in the community design and development <br />process, leadership development, and sustainable design. He is a frequent <br />lecturer and speaker for the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and the <br />Minnesota State Horticulture Society. <br />As a volunteer with the Minnesota Design Team, Mr. Schroeder has served as <br />team leader and team member on over a dozen community visits, and as <br />treasurer and Chair of the organization.
