• MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 10, 1993 <br />PAGE 3 <br />• <br />DISCUSSION OF CITIZEN/BUSINESS INPUT ON POLICING NEEDS TO ASSIST <br />IN PREPARATION OF RFP FOR POLICE SERVICE FOR 1995 <br />Baldwin explained that the city has notified the City of <br />Roseville that Falcon Heights is terminating the present police <br />contract and will be preparing an RFP for police service for <br />1995. As requested by Baldwin at the October 27th meeting, <br />Gehrz, Jacobs and Hoyt met to plan fog methods of community <br />input. Hoyt then presented the committee's suggestions for <br />citizen input, such as neighborhood community meetings, a mailed <br />survey, and meeting with business persons. Following a brief <br />discussion regarding the format of the proposed meetings and <br />wording on the survey form, council directed the committee/staff <br />to proceed with the meetings and survey as presented. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m. <br />Tom Baldwin, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Shirley Chenoweth, City Clerk <br />• <br />
