CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />1993 .BUDGET <br />.DEPARTMENT: Administration <br /> <br />ACTIVITY: Five Year Capital Improvement Plan <br />ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: Administration section provides for capital <br />expenditures in and around city hall <br />ANALYSIS/COMMENTS: The 1993 planned expenditures are for replacement of <br />existing equipment and include: <br />• The city fax machine will be six years old and technological <br />advances have made the current fax obsolete. <br />• The city has been replacing office chairs over the last three <br />years. This money is to replace the remaining three office chairs. <br />• The replacement of the IBM XT computer with a faster more <br />efficient computer. <br />• The improvement and replacement of the loud speaker system in the <br />council chambers. This will improve the sound within the council <br />chambers as well as on cable TV. <br />• The purchase of audio equipment which will allow the city <br />• to make better us of its cable network and inform the city <br />residents of city business. <br />• Replacement audio visual aids such as slide projector and easel. <br />• Replacement of council folding tables and chairs. <br />• Replacement of the old voting booths with new lightweight modern <br />booths. <br />• Remodeling of .the entryway in city hall. <br />These improvements will have little or no cost impact on future <br />operations other than to make set-up for elections easier and less time <br />consuming. <br /> <br />
