CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />1992 BUDGET <br />DEPARTMENT: Public Works <br />ACTIVITY: Five Year Capital Improvement Plan <br />ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: The Public Works section is for equipment which is <br />used in the area infrastructure maintenance. <br />ANALYSISjCOMMENTS: 1992 expenditures include replacement of the radio <br />equipment which was purchased in the early '80's. The city is currently <br />having problems with the system in that the radios pick up other signals. <br />A new item to improve the Public Works storage area. This area is <br />currently an older privacy type fencing which is unsecured. This would <br />be improved both aesthetically and in security. <br />The storage improvement would have some time impact on the Public Works <br />department. Public Works would have to spend time reorganizing and <br />cleaning up the Public Works area. This is a one time time-constraint <br />and is believed to have little impact on the operating budget. <br />CJ <br /> <br />
