reason for this requirement. The fact that your street has bus <br />traffic, particularly during the day, should not create a <br />particular safety hazard since there is no parking along Hoyt <br />during most busy traffic hours. _ <br />Finally, as I understand it, the University Grove neighborhood is <br />considering a request for residential permit parking. If adopted <br />by the city council, permit parking would allow residents to <br />purchase permits so their vehicles could remain on the street <br />throughout the day as well as overnight. It might be possible to <br />request that only residential permit parking be allowed on your <br />block. This would eliminate parking from homeowners on the <br />southside of Hoyt, which is designated "no parking".
