Meeting Date August 26. 1991 <br />Agenda Item E-4 <br />• CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />ITEM: Schedule a public hearing for the draft comprehensive <br />plan <br />SUBMITTED BY: Susan Hoyt, City Administrator acting as planner <br />REVIEWED BY: Not Applicable <br />EXPLANATION/DESCRIPTION: <br />At this time the planning commission has reviewed the draft plan <br />and proposed changes. The Hoisington Group and staff are working <br />out some of the technical and census related details. It is <br />appropriate to schedule a public hearing on the draft plan. The <br />document may be ready in draft form by the September meeting. <br />Once the public hearing(s) is held, the draft plan goes to the <br />city council for review and approval pending acceptance by the <br />Metropolitan Council. <br />Your input is critical in deciding the timing and manner for <br />• holding this public hearing. <br />Staff plans to include an article about the plan in the city's <br />fall newsletter. It may be useful for the commission to discuss <br />the plan with council members at a council workshop. <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Schedule public hearing. <br />• <br />
