Meeting Date 7 22 91 <br />Agenda Item - <br /> <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: A request for a variance from 9-2.06 (f)(4) <br />o e zoning code relating to fence height at 1530 Iowa Street <br />in an R-1 zone <br />SUBMITTED BY: Mr. David Bowers, property owner <br />REVIEWED BY: Susan Hoyt, City Planner <br />EXPLANATION/DESCRIPTION: <br />Mr. Bowers recently purchased the property at 1530 Iowa Street. <br />He wishes to enhance the privacy on the westside of his rear <br />deck by constructing an eight foot high fence of solid wood <br />along the property line on this side of the deck (see attachment <br />1). The remainder of the rear property will be fenced with a <br />basket weave and/or cyclone fence not more than six feet high, <br />which is the maximum height in the zoning code.
