A "game roam" is a business establishment, more than <br />fifty percent {SO$) of the gross receipts of which are <br />derived .from trie operation of amusement devices, has an <br />Amusement Device Manager an the premises during all hours of <br />operation, is Iicensed by the Czty, and has implemented a <br />security plan which has been approved by the Chief of <br />Police. <br />Section 109.030. ~ecial Requirements for Licea_ sing. <br />1. No license shall be granted after February 1, 1991 far <br />any game roam which: <br />(a) zs less than 1,004 feet from any residence; <br />(b) Is Less than 1,800 feet from any school building or <br />school yard, <br />(c) Is less than 1,000 feet fra-~ any park. <br />2- Game rooms which were licensed pzior to February 1, 1991 <br />are exploded from the requirements set forth in paragraph 1 <br />above, but are subject to all other restrictions set forth <br />in this Ohapter. <br />3, Each applicant for a license for a game room shall. <br />provide the Chief of police with a security plan designed to <br />maintain order and each applicant for each game xaom or <br />amusement device shad provide the Police Chief with the <br />names and addresses of the amusement device managers. <br />4_ Na alcoholic beverages (i.ncluding ~.2 beer ar wine) or <br />cantroZied substances without a prescz~iption shall be sold, <br />possessed ar cor:su~ed on the premises of the game room, the <br />camnton areas within the bui,iding, or the parking areas, <br />s <br />~- The property owner will post an the exterior of the <br />premises "loo Loitering" and wi].1 prevent any loitering <br />within the building or in the parking areas and sidewalk <br />adjacent to the building. <br />~- Any person who has been convicted of a felony, .~, <br />aontrvlZed substance abuse, ar gambling law violation within <br />the past fzve years i.s prah~ibxted from working as an <br />attendant at tYae game roam_ <br />2 <br />i <br />
