<br />Page 5 <br />COMMUNITY FACILITIES AND SERVICES <br />OBJECTIVES: <br />1. To assure maximum efficiency and economy in the delivery <br />of public services. <br />2.' To provide municipal services equitably to residents. <br />3. To provide adequate space for municipal administration <br />and related services. <br />4. To continue cooperation among the City and other govern- <br />mental units including the School Districts the County <br />and neighboring cities. <br />POLICIES: <br />1. Provide emergency service including polices fire <br />and rescue within a four minute response time to any <br />place served by the City. <br />2. Continue to replace and upgrade equipment as <br />necessary to maintain the present levels of local service. <br />3. Provide adequate police protection. <br />4. Provide adequate and efficient snow plowing service. <br />5. Provide meeting facilities for civic groups at City <br />Hall and the community park building. <br />6. Continue to evaluate options for the least duplicative <br />and most effective and efficient delivery of municipal <br />services .including direct services private contracts <br />and cooperative agreements with other governmental units. <br />7. Encourage Roseville Area Schools to keep Falcon Heights <br />Elementary School and Brimhall Elementary School open <br />and functioning as elementary schools. <br />• <br /> <br />• <br />
